RE: USE OF OILSORB™ ORGANOCLAY
Sevenson has utilized the Biomin OilSorb™ product for water filtration applications at Superfund and Remedial Action Sites for a period of five years. Specifically, the product has been employed as a pre-filtration media for PCB contaminated waters of which we have successfully processed over 40 million gallons of water during the past five year period.
We have employed the product at the following sites to date:
|
River Raisin Dredge/Dewatering Project, Monroe, MI
|
Unnamed Tributary Remediation Project, Toledo, OH
|
Commercial Oil Superfund Site, Oregon, OH
|
Purolator Products Site, Elmira, NY
|
US Radium Superfund Site, Orange, NJ |
At this time, we are a committed user of the OilSorb™ product for water treatment applications which involve processing of waters contaminated with free or emulsified oils, PCBs, MTBE, and high concentrations of organic chemicals.
We have consistently found that Biomin meets all of our shipping deadlines and has an unsurpassed record for product and technical support.
Sincerely,
Mike Barnhart
